Grieve & Bremner

Thursday 6th March 1828 – Wind from the N.E. and fresh breeze latter part of the day with a little snow and fine intervals in course of the day and getting cold towards the evening likely for snow.  Mr. Thomas Verge after repairing his boat to fit her for the ice this winter launched her this day she is full timbered & decked.
