Saturday 7th Feb 1852 Cloudy & Gloomy, wind W.N.W, thermometer 32 plus at past 8am Brig Angler was launched in excellent style, by Mr. Charles Newhook the colors were hoisted in various parts of the room, & onboard the vessels, to commemorate the event Afternoon gloomy, & moderate breeze of wind N.N.W. bordering on clam at 2pm wind veered S.W. very mild evening wind & weather similar to last.
